Technical Compliance Officer (iGaming)

Location: Birkirkara, Malta; hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home

What you will do

• Translate technical standards, certification schemes, and regulatory requirements into testable requirements and control objectives.
• Maintain requirement-to-control and evidence traceability across regulated jurisdictions and certified assets.
• Manage the full certification lifecycle, including readiness assessments, submission packs, findings closure, surveillance, change notifications, and recertification.
• Coordinate with accredited test laboratories, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities on scope, queries, timelines, proposals, and invoicing.
• Assess regulatory changes, identify affected controls and assets, and prepare impact assessments and remediation plans.
• Report certification readiness and technical compliance risks while supporting Product, Engineering, Integrations, DevOps, and Studio Operations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in gaming or iGaming, ideally in a B2B environment supporting certified products and platforms.
• Experience working directly with accredited test laboratories and certification bodies through readiness, submission, findings tracking, and closure.
• Experience translating regulatory or scheme requirements into implementable technical requirements and managing compliance gaps through evidenced closure.
• Multi-jurisdictional B2B licensing experience across at least three regulated markets.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS operation, control design, and evidence practices.
• Working knowledge of RNG and game certification, live studio technical standards, and platform architecture.

Nice to have

• Live studio experience.
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer certification.
• CISA, CRISC, or an equivalent qualification.
• Degree in business, management, or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
