Senior Responsible Gaming Officer (iGaming): Developing and managing responsible gaming compliance strategies, policies, reporting, and monitoring tools across regulated markets with an accent on regulatory alignment, market localization, and data-driven risk oversight. Focus on leading compliance-by-design expansion projects, conducting gap analyses, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and training teams on responsible gaming standards.
Location: Sliema, Malta; hybrid way of working

What you will do
- Develop, localize, and manage responsible gaming policies, processes, regulatory submissions, and compliance documentation across assigned markets.
- Track compliance KPIs and prepare governance reports with market-specific insights and recommendations.
- Monitor regulatory developments, conduct risk assessments, and respond to audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Lead responsible gaming activities in expansion projects, including compliance-by-design strategies, gap analyses, product requirements, and Terms & Conditions updates.
- Oversee behavioral monitoring tools, player risk identification, data-driven trend analysis, and knowledge transfer to the Operations Back Office team.
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Technology, Compliance, Technical Compliance, and Product teams, and deliver training on responsible gaming standards and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in governance, compliance, or responsible gaming, ideally in gaming, financial, or regulatory sectors.
- Strong understanding of responsible gaming frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in regulated industries and localizing policies across diverse markets.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated AI-first mindset, including practical use of AI tools and assistants for productivity, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analytics and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning in high-growth or expansion-focused environments.
- Professional certification in compliance, governance, or risk management, such as CCEP or CRMP.
