Chief Accountant (Fintech)

Location: Poland; hybrid work, with Warsaw or Poznan preferred

What you will do

• Set up and manage full-cycle accounting for a new Polish legal entity.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and oversee statutory reporting.
• Manage payroll accounting with external payroll providers.
• Oversee VAT, CIT, PIT, and other tax filings and payments.
• Act as the main contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Build the local accounting team and coordinate processes with group finance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including a senior or chief accountant role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
• Practical knowledge of the Polish IP Box regime.
• Experience with ERP or local accounting software, including Enova365.
• Understanding of payroll, VAT, and cross-border services.
• Working proficiency in English.

• Experience in IT services companies or international environments.
• Experience setting up accounting for a new legal entity.
