Malware Analyst (OT/IoT Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Perform static and dynamic analysis of malicious samples in isolated and sandboxed environments.
• Analyze malware behavior, capabilities, intent, execution, persistence, and evasion techniques.
• Create and tune detection rules and signatures for the cybersecurity product.
• Conduct threat intelligence operations to collect and validate information about advanced threats.
• Contribute technical security research material for public audiences when needed.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Detection Engineer, SOC Analyst, or Threat Hunter.
• Hands-on experience analyzing Windows malware, including PE format and common execution, persistence, and evasion techniques.
• Experience with reverse-engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDBG, x64dbg, or radare2.
• Experience creating YARA, Snort, Suricata, STIX, or SIGMA detection signatures.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, cyber kill chains, the OSI model, and Wireshark.
• Working knowledge of Python and the ability to handle confidential information covered by non-disclosure agreements.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing malware in Linux environments, including ELF format and Linux-specific persistence and execution techniques.
• Understanding of binary file attributes, executable structures, and packers.
