Middle DevOps Engineer

Location: Fully remote; applications welcomed from anywhere in Europe. Listed locations include Warsaw, Bucharest, and Lisbon.

What you will do

• Manage and build hybrid cloud and bare-metal infrastructure, primarily running on Kubernetes.
• Configure and maintain internal services, deployment environments, and infrastructure platforms.
• Build and maintain application and infrastructure monitoring and log management systems.
• Improve infrastructure performance, reliability, and operational processes.
• Drive performance and integration testing and perform root cause analysis for production errors.
• Support software development and QA teams and participate in disaster-related on-call coverage.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of continuous DevOps or IT systems administration experience.
• Practical experience administering Unix/Linux servers, including Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS.
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure, CI/CD, configuration management, virtualization, containerization, and Git.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes cluster deployment, testing, and management; Terraform, IaC, and PaC.
• Knowledge of databases and clustering, including SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL, plus Bash or Python scripting.
• Understanding of IT security practices, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS benchmarks, advanced networking, ACLs, firewalls, VPN tunnels, and routing; availability for 24/7 disaster-only on-call support.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 stack.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
