Senior Jira Administrator – Atlassian Platform Specialist (Atlassian)

Location: Portugal, hybrid work model with up to 2 remote days per week. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Design and develop Jira features according to technical specifications and project objectives.
• Write, review, and optimize technical and functional documentation for Jira workflows and configurations.
• Translate project requirements into Jira solutions and plan and execute data migrations between Jira instances or third-party tools.
• Participate in governance meetings, workshops, migrations, and Atlassian organization takeovers.
• Manage permission schemes, access controls, and system configurations.
• Support system integrations, architecture, interoperability, and cross-functional delivery quality.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Jira Administrator or Atlassian Platform Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Jira, Atlassian tools, platform architecture, and integrations.
• Experience with technical-functional documentation, permission schemes, and access management.
• Experience planning and executing data migrations between Jira instances or from third-party tools.
• Project management, experimentation, workshop facilitation, reporting, and alerting skills.
• Communicative English and practical-to-mastery French are required.

Nice to have

• Certification in Atlassian tools or project management qualifications.
• Experience with Atlassian organization takeovers or large-scale migrations.
