FinTech Client #6 | Backend Developer (Java)

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia or Warsaw, Poland — hybrid, with remote and in-person work

What you will do

• Work as part of the financial core team.
• Design, develop, and deploy backend functionality.
• Solve complex business, scalability, and performance challenges.
• Collaborate with product, finance, operations, business development, and other teams.
• Maintain high standards for architecture, design, performance, security, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Professional Java experience is required.
• Experience developing high-performance, scalable backend systems.
• Extensive experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, learn quickly, and work as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Previous fintech experience.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Experience with Kafka, Confluent, or another distributed events platform.
