KYC Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid working model with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Own end-to-end KYC reviews and onboarding for retail clients, including complex, higher-risk, and exception cases.
• Handle client queries and complaints related to onboarding and KYC, resolving complex cases and escalating when appropriate.
• Identify exceptions, process gaps, system issues, and control improvements across retail onboarding.
• Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support to KYC Associates.
• Monitor regulatory and AML developments and maintain relevant procedures.
• Work with Compliance, Sales, Operations, and the KYC Team Lead or Manager.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience performing KYC or AML activities, ideally in retail financial services.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end KYC and retail client onboarding processes.
• Strong risk awareness across operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Experience with an internationally regulated retail client base and handling client queries or complaints is required.
