TL;DR
Technical Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central): Designing and maintaining scalable ERP and integration solutions across a multi-country Navision landscape transitioning to Business Central, with an accent on AL development, Azure APIs, and technical architecture. Focus on API-led connectivity through Azure API Management, deployment planning, performance monitoring, and resolving complex third-level incidents.
Location: Madrid, Spain; remote working options are available within a flexible working arrangement.

operates an international IT Applications environment supporting an ERP landscape based on Navision 2018 across eight countries and its transformation to cloud-based Business Central.
What you will do
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine and validate technical requirements.
- Design scalable application, integration, and solution architectures for Dynamics NAV and Business Central.
- Design and optimize Azure-based integrations, including API Management, and ensure secure connectivity across applications.
- Support testing, early defect resolution, deployments, and technical health monitoring across environments.
- Provide third-level support for complex incidents through ServiceNow.
- Maintain technical documentation and drive improvements in performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience with Dynamics NAV or Business Central in a technical consulting, solution architecture, or senior development role.
- Strong expertise in architecture, development, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AL, ideally also C/AL, and deployment processes.
- Solid knowledge of Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and Functions.
- Experience with API-based integrations in cloud environments and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a comparable qualification, together with strong analytical and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Technical leadership experience in Business Central implementation or migration projects, especially migrations from NAV to Business Central.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure integration architecture and API-led connectivity between ERP and surrounding applications.
