Data Warehouse Sr. Manager

What you will do

• Lead a team of 12–15 colleagues and contractors through resource allocation, coaching, and talent development.
• Lead cross-functional agile delivery, providing data warehousing thought leadership and technology oversight.
• Define the data technology roadmap and execute enterprise data warehousing initiatives.
• Translate logical designs from data architects into physical data models aligned with governance, enterprise architecture, and business requirements.
• Manage operational data sources, data acquisition, downstream systems, incidents, and continuous improvement metrics.
• Partner with Data Technology, the Chief Data & Analytics Office, and business and technology leaders to enable an effective data ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with multi-terabyte data warehousing engineering projects.
• 7+ years of experience managing technology teams focused on data warehousing.
• Experience with data governance, data management, data quality, and enterprise data warehousing best practices.
• Experience translating requirements and logical designs into physical implementations.
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, DataLake, Python/PySpark, and Erwin Enterprise Data Modeler.
• Experience with operational data stores, staging, data integration, master data management, dimensional and snowflake design, data marts, managed views, and analytical sandboxes.
• Experience with business intelligence and advanced analytics.
