Sr Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platforms)

Location: Miami, FL, United States; regular in-person attendance at the hirify.global office is required.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, administer, and support endpoint management systems and VDI infrastructure for more than 12,000 geographically distributed endpoints.
• Administer Microsoft Intune across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, including enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and Windows Autopilot provisioning.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, or VMware Horizon environments, focusing on availability, performance, image management, session hosting, and user profiles.
• Develop endpoint security baselines, CIS benchmarks, hardening standards, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint controls, BitLocker encryption, and DLP policies.
• Automate patching, software deployment, application packaging, provisioning, and lifecycle management using Intune, MECM/SCCM, PowerShell, or similar tools.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, network, application, and business teams; mentor junior engineers and support strategic endpoint initiatives and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of systems engineering and enterprise endpoint platform administration experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Intune or Microsoft Endpoint Manager experience across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or VMware Horizon.
• 3+ years of scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, Azure, and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

Nice to have

• Microsoft 365, Azure Administrator, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Citrix certifications.
• Experience owning large-scale projects and presenting technical concepts to executives, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
