Staff Technical Program Manager (AI Developer Experience)

What you will do

• Lead strategic and delivery planning with Engineering leads and Product Managers, including scoping, prioritisation, estimation, and capacity management.
• Lead large, technically complex, cross-functional programs across Engineering groups and manage dependencies between teams.
• Facilitate technical discussions, clarify requirements, identify gaps, and drive timely decisions.
• Manage risks, issues, delivery status, reporting cadences, dashboards, roadmaps, and delivery standards.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering and leadership stakeholders while maintaining accountability for roles and responsibilities.
• Lead continual improvement rituals and delivery processes that improve engineering effectiveness and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of delivery experience in a SaaS environment.
• Experience shipping complex, multi-stakeholder programs that scale across products or platforms used by large engineering organisations.
• Strong experience managing evolving scope, technical dependencies, ambiguity, risks, and cross-team challenges.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle practices at scale, CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and technical-user needs.
• Experience with developer productivity tooling such as code review automation, IDE integrations, CLI tools, and cloud-based development environments.
• Exceptional communication, influence, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar in enterprise engineering contexts.
• Familiarity with agentic AI patterns, multi-agent orchestration, workflow chaining, and autonomous task execution.
• Direct experience building or leading AI-focused engineering tooling or AI initiatives in platform or infrastructure contexts.
