Golang Software Engineer

Overview

Develop core proxy technology involving low-level network programming, high-load systems, and asynchronous computing. Work in a remote-first, four-day workweek environment focused on innovation and efficiency.

What you will do

• Support and develop the core proxy product ensuring performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and foster collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software development including 2+ years in Go
• Strong knowledge of Go internals and concurrency
• Experience with high-throughput network services and proxies
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse
• Experience with Apache Kafka and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Comfortable with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Linux CLI, and web security basics

Nice to have

• Experience with CPU cache locality, stream multiplexers, eBPF, load testing, Kubernetes, IaC, cloud platforms, DoS protection, Linux system administration, integration tests, and C/C++
