Senior Data Manager-Databricks

Location: Work at Home - Texas, United States. Remote work with occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings. A dedicated, interruption-free workspace is required to protect member PHI and HIPAA information.

Salary: $97,900–$133,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Acquire, clean, validate, store, protect, and manage datasets from internal and external sources.
• Develop and execute data architectures, policies, practices, and procedures across the enterprise data lifecycle.
• Build ETL solutions and prepare data for reporting, analysis, and visualizations.
• Analyze complex data to derive insights that support business decisions and outcomes.
• Translate business needs into technical data requirements and coordinate with business and IT teams.
• Lead data projects through design, coding, code review, deployment, and completion within scope and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of technical data analysis experience using ETL tools and developing ETL solutions with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and/or Databricks.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL, SSMS, SSIS, stored procedures, and dynamic SQL.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure Synapse Analytics or Snowflake, and Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience with root cause analysis, problem-solving, process documentation, presentations, and customer satisfaction.
• Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required, along with a dedicated workspace.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Healthcare or managed care experience.
• Experience building scalable dimensional data models and automating Azure Data Factory architectures.
• Experience providing guidance on data warehouse, data lake, modern BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks architectures.
