Program Manager, Prohibited & Regulated Content

Location: Bastrop, Texas; New York, New York; or Palo Alto, California

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Drive priorities, success measures, and system health for regulated and prohibited content programs.
• Set requirements for detection, classifiers, and automation while improving coverage, precision, and enforcement quality at scale.
• Translate legal, policy, and technical constraints into workflows, controls, requirements, and escalation paths.
• Own escalations, quality assurance, and complex residual case patterns, using operational signals to improve standards and automation.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, and Operations partners to resolve dependencies and deliver critical work.
• Monitor regulatory developments and report performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content integrity, safety operations, compliance operations, or related program roles supporting enforcement or risk programs at scale.
• Experience managing priorities, measures, and operational health for content or risk domains.
• Working knowledge of regulated or prohibited content and the impact of policy, legal, and technical constraints on enforcement.
• Experience translating policy or legal requirements into practical workflows, controls, and escalation paths.
• Experience with automated or model-driven enforcement systems, including detection, classifiers, or policy automation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with regulated or prohibited content programs.
• Experience with enforcement escalations, quality assurance, residual case handling, and operating standards.
• Familiarity with online-platform regulations, synthetic content, model misuse, or scaled manipulation risks.
• Background in high-scale consumer platforms, marketplaces, or technology products.
