Software Engineer - Infrastructure

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement tools, processes, and documentation for hirify.global Aura’s core cloud infrastructure.
• Build, manage, and improve resilient, highly available infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Operate and maintain more than 800 production Kubernetes clusters using custom operators, open-source tooling, and infrastructure as code.
• Investigate issues involving Kubernetes, networking, compute, storage, logging, and security, then develop automated solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, peers across teams, and Product Managers to prioritize and deliver internal and external features.
• Support day-to-day operations in a 24/7/365 service environment.

Requirements

• Expertise in one or more cloud service providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Production software development experience with Go or a similar language.
• Production Kubernetes experience, including Pods, Deployments, DaemonSets, StatefulSets, PVCs, PVs, operators, and custom resources.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform, Crossplane, Config Connector, AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, or Azure Service Operator.
• Experience with virtual machines and Linux, with an understanding of networking and storage.
