DevOps Middleware Specialist (Oracle Cloud)

What you will do

• Define and deploy Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components using Terraform and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines.
• Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, networking, security, and observability.
• Administer, configure, patch, and maintain middleware and J2EE application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Operate and monitor systems that deliver hirify.global services and troubleshoot complex issues across middleware, cloud, and infrastructure layers.
• Participate in ITSM processes and manage L2/L3 tickets with third-party suppliers.
• Develop automation and monitoring scripts, maintain technical documentation, and support messaging integrations using JMS-style queues or equivalent mechanisms.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Linux knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, MPLS, peering, and hub-and-spoke networks.
• Experience with a cloud provider, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, GitHub, and CloudInit for IaC and CI/CD.
• Experience with JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat, secure data transfer, queue management, SSL, and digital certificates.
• Strong English communication proficiency and availability for a 7×24 on-call rotation, including early and late shifts.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM MQ.
• Windows administration experience.
