Software Engineer (ABR/S MNL) (Fintech): Designing and implementing Avaloq customization solutions, supporting data migration and release management, and resolving data inconsistencies with an accent on SQL/PLSQL, database optimization, and customer requirements analysis. Focus on upgrading migration modules, generating reliable datasets, investigating release invalids and incidents, and consulting internal and external users.
Location: Makati City, Philippines; hybrid and flexible working is offered for most roles.

What you will do
- Analyze customer requirements with clients, business analysts, and software partners.
- Design and implement high-quality solutions using the customization layer.
- Set up demo data and support release management for internal customers.
- Perform data migration and generate datasets using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Analyze and resolve release invalids, data inconsistencies, and incidents.
- Upgrade migration modules and provide consulting for users of software modules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering or a related IT field.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and relational databases.
- Competence in one or more programming or scripting languages, including SQL and/or PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of database design and optimization, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Quality-conscious and systematic approach to complex situations.
Nice to have
- Banking industry knowledge.
- Experience with products.
- Experience with data mapping, report generation, or data migration processes.
