Focus on migrating and tuning DataStage jobs, designing complex mappings, supporting application enhancements, and performing unit, integration, QA, UAT, and regression testing.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain data warehousing applications and ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and contribute to high-level and functional design deliverables.
- Perform new development, enhancements of varying sizes, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Migrate and performance-tune DataStage jobs, design complex mappings, and support scheduling activities.
- Provide technical guidance and environment-specific training to offshore team members.
- Participate in technical reviews, manage technical risks, track progress, and support status reporting.
Requirements
- Senior-level development experience in database management, data warehousing, data modeling, data marts, and software development fundamentals.
- Expertise with Ascential DataStage 7.5X, IBM InfoSphere DataStage 8.5, IIS 9.1, and IIS 11.3/11.5.
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, and Unix shell scripting skills.
- Experience designing Star and Snowflake schemas, multidimensional models, and slowly changing dimensions.
- Knowledge of complex mappings and scheduling tools.
- Experience with unit, integration, QA, UAT, and regression testing, including test-plan preparation.
