TL;DR
Jr. Data Analyst (BI/SQL): Gathering and analyzing data from databases and business sources, developing reports and dashboards, and designing end-to-end ETLs with an accent on Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, BI XI, and Excel. Location: Walnut Creek, California, United States; onsite role with an in-person interview

What you will do
- Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Develop new reporting capabilities and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests.
- Analyze data and create clear, concise dashboards and visualizations.
- Design and develop end-to-end ETL processes based on business needs.
- Maintain databases and provide analytics and technical assistance to Network Services departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least four years of professional experience required.
- Six months to one year of experience with Tableau Desktop.
- Four years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, including stored procedures, views, Reporting Services, and scheduled jobs.
- Four years of experience in a BI XI environment, including queries, scheduling, and custom SQL coding.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to collaborate effectively on virtual teams.
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2.
- Basic experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2013.
- Hands-on experience building reports from BMC Remedy databases or data marts.
- Experience demonstrating innovation and completed accomplishments.
