TL;DR
Internal Auditor (IT Audit): Conducting IT and business audits for a financial technology provider with an accent on risk-based assurance, control evaluation, and governance frameworks. Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid and flexible working are available for most roles.

What you will do
- Conduct IT and other audit assignments independently or in a small team.
- Present, report, and follow up on audit results with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide risk-based, objective assurance, advice, and insight.
- Evaluate and improve risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert during business audit assignments.
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or IT, or a bachelor's or master's degree in economics with a specialization in finance, accounting, or audit.
- At least 5 years of auditing experience, ideally in financial services or audit.
- CIA or CISA certification is ideally expected.
- Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO, and IIA/DIIR audit standards.
- Experience reviewing control activities, processes, and policy documentation.
- Fluent German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CRISC, or similar professional qualification.
- Additional language skills.
