Manufacturing Expansion Transition Technician – B Shift

What you will do

• Support Cell Leads in delivering daily production targets across assigned legacy manufacturing areas.
• Operate, prepare, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and production areas.
• Maintain production continuity, support shift handovers, and report downtime and operational performance.
• Contribute to root-cause investigations, Kaizen projects, waste reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Execute validation protocols, sampling activities, and required manufacturing documentation.
• Work with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve equipment, process, and compliance issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating, cleaning, or servicing production equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP, 5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and Total Productive Maintenance principles.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with shift-based arrangements, PPE/RPE use, manual handling, cleaning chemicals, and pharmaceutical active ingredients.

Nice to have

• A-Level qualifications or an equivalent vocational qualification.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Experience with process equipment maintenance, quality, compliance, or validation activities.

• The role is limited to legacy manufacturing areas and does not include training, qualification, authorization, or deployment on the new ADHD bead manufacturing unit or other expansion assets.

Hiring process

• The position is a fixed-term project role and concludes when the Manufacturing Expansion Training Workstream is completed, according to the fixed-term contract.
