E&S Compliance Engineer

Location: Onsite in Baguio City, Philippines

What you will do

• Maintain regulatory data, inspection evidence, compliance calendars, reports, training records, and closure documentation.
• Support compliance with occupational safety and health, chemical safety, process safety, construction safety, and emergency response requirements.
• Identify hazards and environmental aspects, assess risks, recommend controls, and verify implementation with process owners.
• Lead 6–8 compliance projects, develop procedures and training materials, and monitor process-owner compliance.
• Prepare or support DOLE, PEZA, internal EHS reports, audits, agency inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Support spill, chemical, safety, and environmental emergency response within training, medical clearance, and authorization limits.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Safety, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in EHS compliance, safety engineering, regulatory reporting, risk assessment, auditing, or management-system implementation.
• Technical expertise in Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) and Industrial Ventilation/Airborne Exposure Controls in high-risk or manufacturing environments.
• Expert understanding of the Fire Code of the Philippines, National Building Code, NFPA, and Philippine OSH Standards.
• Experience drafting and executing Emergency Action Plans, supporting emergency response, conducting HIRAC/JSA, preparing regulatory reports, and closing audit findings.
• At least DOLE SO3 certification or training; OSH Practitioner accreditation is preferred but not required.
