AI Security Workshop Instructor

Location: Remote; collaboration is available across different locations and time zones

Salary: $90–$130 USD per hour, with a potentially higher rate for exceptional expertise

What you will do

• Deliver hands-on AI Security workshops for experienced engineering teams using practical labs and real repositories.
• Demonstrate attacks and mitigations involving agentic AI coding tools, including indirect prompt injection, delegated permissions, autonomous command execution, and workspace trust.
• Teach MCP security practices, including trust boundaries, read/write scoping, least privilege, permissions, and tool re-approval.
• Help engineers secure AI-generated code and pull requests with secret scanning, SAST, SCA, branch protection, CODEOWNERS, and repository security instructions.
• Explain AI supply-chain risks and AI data governance issues, including hallucinated dependencies, compromised MCP servers, sensitive data exposure, credentials, proprietary code, model data flows, and retention.
• Review client tooling and security controls, then collaborate with subject-matter experts to refine workshops, labs, and practices.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in English.
• Strong hands-on experience in AI Security and agentic AI attack surfaces.
• Practical knowledge of MCP security, trust boundaries, permissions, read/write scoping, and least-privilege configuration.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, VS Code, and Python.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps controls for AI-generated code and AI-specific supply-chain risks.
• Experience delivering technical workshops or facilitating practical knowledge-sharing sessions for experienced technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, finance, or healthcare.
• Familiarity with OWASP Agentic Top 10, OWASP MCP Top 10, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, or the EU AI Act.
• Experience with AI security audit trails, incident response, injection testing, guardrail regression testing, or AI usage policies.
