Compliance Manager (Online Gambling)

What you will do

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Ontario, Alberta, and wider Canadian legislation, regulations, guidance, and technical requirements.
• Advise Product, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Customer Services, Technology, and other stakeholders on commercially compliant procedures and initiatives.
• Act as a key internal and external contact for Canadian compliance matters, including regulator relationships, licensing obligations, regulatory reporting, and steering meetings.
• Monitor regulatory developments, rulings, and public statements, and feed findings into business planning and compliance improvements.
• Support quarterly compliance monitoring, investigate weaknesses, drive remedial actions, and assist with regulatory incident handling.
• Review marketing campaigns and website content through monthly and ad-hoc compliance checks.

Requirements

• Experience in a compliance-focused role within the online gambling sector.
• Knowledge of Canadian legislative and regulatory frameworks for the online gambling industry.
• Experience working with regulatory obligations, licensing, monitoring, and reporting.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactivity in identifying process weaknesses and driving iterative improvements.
