AWS Fullstack Developer

Location: Australia, with office locations in Sydney, Melbourne (preferred) and/or Brisbane. Occasional business travel may be required.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test and deploy full-stack applications using modern web technologies and AWS cloud services.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, .NET, Java or Python.
• Design cloud-native and serverless solutions using AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3 and CloudWatch.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, production troubleshooting, technical discovery and stakeholder collaboration for client environments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with experience in React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Backend development experience with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core or Python.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS, including RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes and modern development practices, plus strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent certification.
• Consulting or professional services experience and enterprise-scale cloud transformation experience.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, cloud governance, serverless architecture and event-driven design patterns.
• Familiarity with CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk or New Relic.
