Operational Compliance Assistant Manager (AML/CFT)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operational compliance monitoring for the regulated financial services business.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support AML/CFT, sanctions screening, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring processes.
• Coordinate regulatory returns, periodic reporting, regulator responses, audits, and examinations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their operational impact.
• Liaise with BNM and other relevant authorities, support licence applications or renewals, and deliver AML/CFT training to operational staff.

Requirements

• 6–7 years of experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory affairs within financial services, banking, payments, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT and sanctions screening requirements.
• Strong regulatory liaison, policy drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Money Services Businesses.
• ICA or ACAMS certification.
