What you will do

• Lead negotiations and interactions with government and regulatory bodies to secure licenses and advocate policy positions.
• Develop and execute regulatory strategies for new market entries and high-priority projects across Southeast Asia.
• Manage the full lifecycle of licenses and permits, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
• Monitor global regulatory changes and provide strategic advice to leadership.
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Leadership teams to integrate regulatory requirements into business operations.
• Represent hirify.global at industry forums and consultations to enhance market reputation.

Requirements

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs, or Licensing, preferably multi-jurisdictional.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian government licensing and regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, or related field.
• Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills with high-level officials.
• Strong strategic thinking and risk advisory capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, or digital platforms.
