Lead .NET Developer (Angular)

Location: Hybrid role in Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: $106,230–$145,000 per year, plus potential additional compensation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build back-end services and REST APIs with C#, .NET Core, LINQ, and SQL Server.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Create technical specifications, troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and maintain system reliability and security.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Support production environments and resolve operational issues with minimal downtime.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant software development experience focused on web and backend technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET Core, .NET MVC, SQL Server, and LINQ, including deployment with IIS.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, and JSON.
• Experience building enterprise-level web and desktop applications across the full SDLC.
• Proficiency with GitHub, database design, performance optimization, and production environment management.
• Bachelor’s degree, relevant equivalent work experience, an associate’s degree in a technical field, or a relevant certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure services and cloud-based development.
• GitHub Foundation GH-900 certification.
