Cloud Solutions Engineer (Data & Platform)

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, harden, test, and troubleshoot integrated cloud, data, application, and infrastructure capabilities.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code, automation, and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or comparable tools.
• Administer Linux-based and cloud-based infrastructure services and support secure, repeatable, resilient deployments.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based data engineering capabilities, ETL pipelines, and data workflows.
• Develop or integrate RESTful APIs, services, and data-driven applications.
• Document data flows, interfaces, dependencies, integration approaches, code comments, and technical decisions.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS clearance.
• Five or more years of related professional experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform operations, data engineering, data integration, cloud data development, or software engineering.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, or release support with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
• Experience administering, configuring, or troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with secure software delivery practices, integrated development environments, and protection of sensitive, proprietary, CUI, or classified information.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud services and deployment patterns.
• Experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Platform experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar container and orchestration technologies.
• Data experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Java, or similar technologies.
• AWS or comparable cloud certifications, such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
