Settlements Analyst - Priority Client Services (Financial Markets)

What you will do

• Manage global settlements for European companies across OTC, client, and exchange trades involving equities, bonds, and ETFs.
• Work with traders, clients, prime brokers, execution brokers, DMA providers, and internal teams to ensure timely matching and settlement.
• Monitor and analyze buy-in notices, trade fails, interest claims, fines, long/short positions, and related settlement risks.
• Prepare monthly management reports covering trading volumes, settlement issues, claims, buy-ins, and PnL impact.
• Research new markets and products and support projects linked to trading desk activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Third-level degree, preferably in business or finance.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally involving European and DTC settlements.
• Experience with trade matching platforms such as CTM or Traiana and knowledge of SSIs.
• Knowledge of and interest in financial markets and European settlements.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; SQL or Python experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
