Operations Analyst (Trade Support) (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of trades and positions for trading desks.
• Maintain accurate books and records while helping prevent operational risks for the firm and its customers.
• Collaborate with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and customers to ensure timely trade settlement.
• Perform challenging data analysis and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
• Work with software engineers to automate operational workflows and improve systems, controls, and support for new markets and asset classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and use personal initiative.
• Experience with VBA, SQL, or scripting such as Python is preferred.
• Experience in operations, trade support, consultancy, or a related field is advantageous.
