Mechanical / Systems Engineer (NCG)

Location: Santa Clara, California; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain system specifications and engineering documentation for 300 mm equipment platforms.
• Support tool layout development, including floorplans and module placement.
• Assist with mechanical concept development and subsystem integration.
• Track design updates, action items, and configuration changes.
• Support cross-functional engineering teams in system definition activities.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, and specifications while supporting manufacturing, installation, procurement, and assembly of mechanical components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong CAD skills using NX or an equivalent tool.
• Strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science.
• High organization and attention to detail in documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Internship or academic experience in semiconductor or equipment design.
• Exposure to system integration or complex equipment environments.
