Location: Must be based in or able to work from Redwood City, CA (Hybrid)

Salary: $235,000 – $353,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design and govern scalable RBAC/ABAC access models for production systems.
• Build robust secrets management, encryption, and credential lifecycle patterns.
• Define authority and permissioning scopes for autonomous AI agents and automated systems.
• Create auditability and forensic visibility for user and system actions.
• Lead threat modeling across infrastructure, product, and research.
• Drive enterprise security readiness and make secure patterns automatic for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and operating security foundations in production environments.
• Strong coding skills and experience reviewing infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of trust boundaries and how software acts with authority.
• Ability to balance pragmatism with long-term security rigor.
• Must be able to work on-site in Redwood City, CA.

• Expertise in least-privilege access and modern identity models.
