Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA; on-site and in-office

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Support and evolve hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises systems, Azure, AWS, and M365.
• Architect and maintain M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra, Purview, and security features.
• Manage Windows servers and core services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Operate and troubleshoot networking infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, SD-WAN, wireless systems, endpoints, and BYOD devices.
• Implement PowerShell, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor security alerts, perform root cause analysis, support incident response, and contribute to audits and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or cloud and infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in M365 administration, Azure architecture, and cloud security.
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure automation, with PowerShell preferred.
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management, conditional access, MFA, and modern authentication.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS hardening standards, zero trust principles, and related security frameworks.
• Full-time, exempt, in-office position in Seattle; visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the future.
