Counterparty Onboarding Analyst

What you will do

• Act as a primary contact for counterparties and vendors throughout the onboarding process.
• Conduct KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews, including risk assessments, sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening.
• Complete onboarding, event-driven, and periodic reviews in line with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Verify payment instructions for domestic and international wire transfers and EFTs in U.S. dollars and foreign currencies.
• Escalate issues, own resolutions, and keep management informed of progress.
• Maintain KYC records, support transaction inquiries, advise stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience at a financial institution, preferably in a KYC-related role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, independence, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Fenergo.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
