Senior Software Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Design and develop software solutions and features for complex semiconductor equipment systems.
• Develop and maintain a management system that operates and controls distributed metrology measurements.
• Define software specifications and analyze requirements, schedules, and solution options with internal customers and product stakeholders.
• Collaborate with algorithm, image-processing, QA, automation, systems, and other R&D teams in Agile development environments.
• Troubleshoot complex software problems, perform software testing, and address internal and external customer issues.
• Contribute to reports, technical analysis, architecture decisions, and the integration of new technologies into products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or server-side software development.
• Experience implementing complex software and strong analytical skills.
• Object-oriented programming experience, primarily with Java or C#.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture for large distributed systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Ability to collaborate, take ownership, work independently, and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic coding LLM tools, Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
• Knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, React, and TypeScript.
• Semiconductor industry experience and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methods.
