What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, durable, and scalable AI/ML platform components.
• Build systems for knowledge management, search, prompt management, workflow orchestration, action execution, logging, tracing, and semantic knowledge graphs.
• Evaluate software technologies and frameworks while balancing build-versus-buy decisions, maintainability, delivery speed, and engineering quality.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to define requirements, scope, priorities, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead a small team of engineers, troubleshoot complex software issues, and ensure system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience with at least two general-purpose programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, or C#.
• 6+ years of experience designing and building AI/ML systems using search, data warehousing, streaming, databases, distributed processing, and workflow management technologies.
• 4+ years managing the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD, Kubernetes, testing, monitoring, alerting, and production support.
• 4+ years building training, fine-tuning, real-time and batch inference, and evaluation systems for AI/ML models and LLMs, especially with GPU-powered infrastructure.
• 2+ years using or fine-tuning LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Mistral, or Claude for conversational experiences or agentic workflows.
