Manager, Global Insurance & Risk Management

Location: Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA, United States. Travel required approximately 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $122,000–$168,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage assigned global insurance programs, including property, stock throughput, construction-related, and crime insurance.
• Coordinate property risk engineering, loss-control services, site visits, construction reviews, and implementation of risk mitigation recommendations.
• Manage insurance claims in collaboration with litigation counsel, claims consultants, and third-party administrators.
• Collect and analyze underwriting data and prepare annual insurance renewal submissions.
• Support contract reviews, risk management training, insurance budgeting, reporting, acquisitions, divestitures, and ad hoc projects.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, EH&S, Procurement, Human Resources, Real Estate & Facilities, Logistics, Security, and other functions.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, insurance, and/or brokerage.
• Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance, property risk engineering, and risk management concepts.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in finance, insurance and risk management, or a comparable field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with effective vendor partnership skills.

• CPCU and/or ARM insurance designation.
