Senior Analyst - Analytics

Location: Toyota Headquarters in Plano, Texas; hybrid work with onsite attendance 2–3 days per week and remote work on Fridays.

What you will do

• Frame business needs and translate them into focused analytical questions.
• Acquire, organize, manipulate, and clean data using coding skills.
• Perform data exploration, quantitative analysis, predictive modeling, root cause analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Develop actionable recommendations, reports, and intuitive data visualizations to support pricing, sales, compliance, and business decisions.
• Present findings to management and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury, and Commercial Lending; mentor other analysts on analysis and data storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a similar quantitative STEM field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional, non-academic experience.
• Professional SQL coding experience; some analytics teams also use Python. Coding testing will be conducted during the interview process.
• Professional experience with Excel, PowerPoint, data acquisition, data manipulation, data cleaning, statistics, and predictive modeling.
• Strong presentation, communication, collaboration, and independent working skills in a hybrid environment.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future Toyota immigration support or visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• MBA or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience in auto financing, consumer lending, or financial institutions.
• Advanced statistics knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and Tableau proficiency for pricing and originations analytics roles.
