TL;DR
Snowflake & Analytics Platform Engineer (Snowflake/Tableau): Supporting and optimizing a secure, scalable Snowflake data platform across development, test, and production environments with an accent on access management, governance, monitoring, and analytics tooling. Focus on troubleshooting platform and performance issues, improving observability and cost efficiency, and enabling Tableau and AWS QuickSight capabilities.

What you will do
- Support administration, maintenance, and optimization of Snowflake across development, test, and production environments.
- Manage warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, permissions, user provisioning, and access reviews.
- Monitor platform performance, usage, cost, observability, and audit readiness.
- Support Tableau and AWS QuickSight analytics capabilities and troubleshoot connected platform issues.
- Maintain documentation, operational procedures, support processes, and reusable data platform practices.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, security, infrastructure, and business teams to improve platform adoption and reliability.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting or administering Snowflake and understanding databases, schemas, roles, compute warehouses, and data access controls.
- Knowledge of RBAC, least-privilege access, user access management, monitoring, usage analysis, and cloud data platform operations.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical and user-support issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AWS cloud platforms.
- Experience supporting analytics user communities or business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance, audit support, or compliance operations.
- Awareness of emerging BI, AI, or agentic capabilities in Snowflake and modern analytics platforms.
