Senior Compliance Manager, Legal Securities

Location: New York or Seattle, United States

Salary: $210,000–$295,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Build and operate the securities and dealing compliance framework, including MNPI, conflicts, restricted-information, and personal-account dealing controls.
• Draft, launch, and improve clearance, approval, reporting, intake, assessment, logging, and record-retention processes.
• Maintain restricted-information and conflicts registers, control evidence, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Design and deliver attestations, periodic certifications, communications, and training for relevant employees and control owners.
• Track program activity, exceptions, and key control indicators while supporting regulatory, audit, and internal review requests.
• Identify, escalate, and remediate securities and dealing control issues in partnership with Legal, Finance, Tax, Rewards, Equity Administration, and Company Secretariat.

Requirements

• At least five years of in-house compliance experience focused on securities and dealing compliance.
• Hands-on experience building compliance policies and processes from scratch.
• Working knowledge of MNPI and conflicts controls, clearance and approval processes, restricted-information controls, and personal-account dealing.
• Strong organizational, process, judgment, and escalation skills, with the ability to work independently in an environment with limited structure.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience at start-ups or high-growth technology companies, before or after IPO.
• Exposure to securities or market-abuse regimes.
• Experience at a hyperscaler or AI lab.
