Ramp Process Engineer (BEOL)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Travel to Southeast Asia and the USA may be required for up to 30% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Support the setup and ramp of a next-generation semiconductor manufacturing line from technology transfer through pilot production and high-volume manufacturing.
• Review, train on, and transfer R&D processes and materials to the pilot production line, creating comprehensive transfer checklists.
• Design experiments, collect and analyze process data, and prepare technical reports for multiple products.
• Coordinate with R&D, production process and integration, operations, and hardware teams to complete transfer milestones and manage schedules, deliverables, and risks.
• Train engineers in film-property measurement techniques, data interpretation, troubleshooting, and new methodologies.
• Implement technologies and analytical instrumentation, characterize hardware, document specifications, and support tool and process qualifications at the high-volume manufacturing site.

Requirements

• Experience with BEOL optics and semiconductor fabrication is preferred.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry standards, including deposition, etch, lithography, and metrology.
• Ability to track deliverables through completion and execute process engineering projects within safety guidelines.
• Comfort working across time zones, collaborating with remote teams, and supporting factory-side execution.
• Flexibility to travel between Southeast Asia and the USA, with travel listed as approximately 25% to 30% of the time.
