Software Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Tainan, Taiwan. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Design and develop software for complex semiconductor equipment components and devices.
• Create software documentation, test procedures, specifications, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot difficult software problems and implement bug fixes.
• Develop and test software for simulators, test benches, and laboratory environments.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to analyze requirements, plan schedules, and resolve software issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software or systems engineering, information management, cybersecurity, mathematics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, .NET, and C#.
• Knowledge of operating systems, networking principles, algorithms, multi-threading, and RPC.
• Ability to work in Tainan, Taiwan, with travel required up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and business drivers.
