Salary: $65–$75 per hour

What you will do
- Edit and rewrite reports, briefs, PowerPoint presentations, success stories, blogs, and news articles related to data science and digital health.
- Review writing for coherence, organization, completeness, clarity, accuracy, and quality.
- Provide technical editorial review and proofread materials prepared by content writers.
- Ensure documents meet branding requirements, the Data.FI APA Style Guide, and standards.
- Support documentation workflows and communications tasks for Data.FI and other Information Systems portfolio projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional copyediting experience.
- Deep familiarity with APA and other relevant style guides.
- Ability to edit documents quickly and efficiently, including proofreading a 20-page document within 4 hours.
- Ability to manage parallel assignments, meet tight deadlines, and respond promptly to email.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and concern for accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- At least 8 years of professional copyediting experience.
- Experience preparing academic publications in social science, health, or digital technologies.
- Experience with international development projects, particularly U.S. government- and State Department-funded programs.
- Advanced knowledge of digital health and global health.
