Threat Hunter, FedCloud (Remote)

Location: 100% remote, based in the United States. Open to US Citizens and Green Card Holders. Tuesday-Friday night shift, 23:00-09:00 ET (03:00-13:00 UTC).

Salary: $85,000-$120,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Conduct advanced proactive and active threat hunting across client environments and government cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze and respond to sophisticated threat actor activity, intrusions, and advanced persistent threats.
• Develop and implement detection methodologies to improve Falcon platform capabilities.
• Track adversary campaigns and contribute to cyber threat intelligence and detection engineering initiatives.
• Communicate technical findings to technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
• Experience with network- or host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, or malware analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Experience with cyber threat intelligence, open-source intelligence, administrative tools, and living-off-the-land techniques.
• Programming or scripting knowledge, particularly Python or Go; familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and adversary techniques.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making and workflow efficiency.
• Willingness to undergo government-required background checks and fingerprinting.

Nice to have

• Advanced Linux and macOS knowledge, SOC or incident response experience, and experience with eCrime or nation-state threat actors.
• Experience with LogScale, NGSIEM, Splunk, Kibana, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Published security research and experience analyzing emerging threats and cloud security fundamentals.
