Software Engineering Interns (AI)

Location: On-site in the San Francisco (Potrero) or New York City (SoHo) office five days per week. Relocation to either location is supported through reimbursements.

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end features across backend and frontend systems.
• Contribute to agentic LLM workflows, including retrieval pipelines, structured tool use, and chained LLM calls.
• Fix user-facing bugs and improve product quality and usability.
• Use evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, robustness, and clinical reliability.
• Prototype with new models, prompting techniques, and orchestration tools such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Collaborate with design, product, machine learning, and infrastructure teams to ship features for clinicians.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a full-time software engineering role in 2027.
• Practical use of AI tools for writing, debugging, and learning, with the ability to verify their output.
• Passion for improving healthcare delivery and understanding clinicians' needs.
• Curious, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco or New York City five days per week.
