ABAP Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Develop ABAP connectors and custom reports integrating ABAP-based systems with the hirify.global platform.
• Design and develop AI agents and specialized LLM harnesses for ABAP development and enterprise IT workflows.
• Contribute across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure stack.
• Work with customers to identify SAP edge cases, constraints, and implementation requirements.
• Influence product direction and ship software used in complex enterprise environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ABAP and SAP development experience.
• Deep understanding of SAP data models, BAPIs, IDocs, function modules, and enhancement frameworks.
• Experience with large SAP implementations and migrations.
• Strong pragmatic engineering judgment and attention to production quality at enterprise scale.
• Ability to work on-site in NYC, US.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI agents, backend and frontend software, or infrastructure.
• Background as an SAP technical consultant, solutions architect, or similar specialist.
