Plant Engineer (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support manufacturing operations by developing expertise in equipment and processes, troubleshooting breakdowns and quality issues, and providing technical guidance.
• Perform technical analyses, including PI data reviews, CIP/SIP circuit checks, MOC evaluations, and flow path assessments.
• Support technology transfer, preventive maintenance updates, spare parts inventory, equipment changes, and process improvements.
• Plan and execute commissioning protocols, manage change requests, and support engineering project implementation.
• Participate in deviation investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA activities to maintain quality and compliance.
• Review and author SOPs, work instructions, batch records, engineering documents, and commissioning protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
• Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience.
• Practical experience applying engineering principles to plant systems.
• Biopharmaceutical or process experience is preferred but not required at this level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
