Cyber Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote in posted locations; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan

What you will do

• Engineer, configure, tune, integrate, and operationalize Product Security and Cloud Security tools.
• Integrate security platforms with CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, cloud platforms, Splunk, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
• Support SaaS security posture management, AI application discovery, secrets detection, remediation tracking, preventive controls, and reporting.
• Operationalize capabilities across AppOmni, Cycode, Wiz, Checkmarx, JFrog/Xray, AppScan, Prisma Cloud, and GCP Model Armor.
• Support Azure, GCP, and AWS security controls, policy development, deployment pipelines, exceptions, and access reviews.
• Troubleshoot outages, scans, integrations, and incidents while creating dashboards, executive summaries, SOPs, playbooks, and escalation guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Commitment to continuous learning through technical training, certifications, security communities, or contributions to cybersecurity and cloud security practices.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space with internet service providing at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Experience with enterprise security tools, cloud security, tool integrations, or regulated environments is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with security frameworks, AI security controls, vendor coordination, QBRs, rule-release reviews, and enterprise change or compliance processes.
